How unlocking works (what’s published)
- Paint pots: “On the battlefield, you’ll also find Warhammer paint pots that will unlock new character forms and secrets” — Steam store page.
- Challenges and secrets: the store page promises “esoteric secrets to uncover and collectables to collect”; previews mention challenge rewards.
- Demo rescue (unverified): some demo players say the Legend of Catachan was unlocked by a rescue on the Imperial Bastion map. Single-source; treat as a rumour until launch.
Keywords and squads
Every champion has keywords. Pick up a weapon your keywords don’t allow and a follower who can use it joins you — that’s how a run as the Castellan ends up with Kozlowski’s Shock Troopers at his side. Details on the Squad system page.
