Warhammer Survivors Guide

Evolutions list: every weapon evolution and its passive

Updated · Evolutions

Quick answer

An evolution needs the base weapon at max level plus one specific passive item in your build, then a weapon chest from a boss — same rules as Vampire Survivors. The 11 demo recipes below are reported by players and match across two independent community charts; the full game adds at least Power Fists → Gauntlets of Ultramar, Fyrestorm Greataxe → Zangrom-Thaz and Heavy Bolter Fidelis → Purgator Mirabilis, whose passives Auroch hasn't published. 75+ weapons are promised, so this table will grow fast after November 10.

How to read “Status”: Official means Auroch named the evolved weapon in a Steam post. Community means two independent player charts (vsevochart and warhammersurvivors.com) list the same pairing from the October demo. We have not datamined anything ourselves; where the two charts disagree we say so.

Passive items seen so far

Tape Measure, Gauntlet, Dice Cube, Liquid Green Stuff, Bandolier, Hourglass, Sabaton (Boot), Bugman’s Tankard, White Dwarf. Players also mention Glue, Lightning Bolt and a Figure Case, with no confirmed evolution attached. The hobby-themed names are deliberate — the game’s “meta” items are Warhammer paints and tools (see the Hobby Table stage).

What changes at launch

Auroch says the demo was “a short, curated experience” and that progression does not carry over. Expect new passives and new evolved forms for the 40+ characters’ signature weapons. We re-check every row against the November 10 build; rows that fail get removed, not left to rot.

FAQ

How many evolutions are in Warhammer Survivors?

Not published. The demo exposed 11 recipes; Auroch has named three more. With 75+ weapons promised, expect dozens — we update this table from the launch build.

Does the passive need to be max level?

Players on the Steam forum report level 1 is enough for the passive; only the weapon has to be maxed. We'll confirm against the full game.

Why couldn't I evolve the D6 Dice or Power Fists in the demo?

Their evolutions weren't in the demo build — the Power Fists evolution calls Marneus Calgar, who isn't a demo character. Players reported the D6 Dice and Grandblade also had no demo evolution.

Are the recipes the same in both universes?

Each universe has its own weapons and passives, so most recipes are universe-specific. Nuln Oil is a cross-universe weapon and evolves with the Hourglass in both.
